End of term already. Hope everyone has a great holiday - I can't wait.
We have been talking heaps about being a 'good' citizen, both in our school and online. Remember that the internet is global and you guys have a really important role in being responsible on line. Feel free to make a comment about how you might do this, or what a responsible, safe and connected cybercitizen might look like. Or you could make a reflective comment about one thing you have learnt and found really interesting this year. Remember, you don't know who might be reading these comments.
Have a fantastic holiday.

Doin this project i have learnt that there is more to cyber safety than just not to talk to strangers, and about cyber bullying.but there is cyber crime, strong passwords.ect.
PS. you spelt a few words incorrectly Mrs C.
Hey there Room 9. Interesting shots of the stream study on here. I hope Michelle and Kaicey were experts after their famous Aongatete Camp stream study experience with Hinuera! (did I miss any other Hinuera faces on the class photo??) Nice job whoever found the koura. Now that I have this web address I'll be able to see what you guys are up to.
Mr Mac @ Hinuera
Hi Room 9. I like all the cute "bling" on your blog. It is intersting seeing the updates on your learning and I look forward to reading some comments posted by students in the future. Next term I have the Year 8 group for art and I already know what a fantastic group you are so we are going to create some very cool art work. I look forward to meeting the year seven group in art later in the year and know that you will be an enthusiastic and focused group as well. Have a great last week of term Mrs Raymond
Hey room 9, global citizenship sounds like it has some responsibilities.....hope you guys are up for it. Good luck.
Hi room 9! I am impressed with this blog and will be sharing it with my class of Yr 5 & 6 students in Te Awamutu this week. I am particularly interested in the comments that you will add about global citizenship as this is for many of us, yet unchartered territory. Keep working hard! I am like Mrs C - looking forward to recharging the batteries over the holidays.
PS. How did the rewrite of the science reports go?
Hi Room 9
I have been following your blog and wiki this term with a lot of interest because it is so good to see what we talk about and plan in the "office" actually becoming part of your learning.
Your wordle depiction of collaborative learning intrigues me. I am wondering whether you feel school and books are the main way you learn. Have you thought about all the learning you do out of school?
If anyone knows how I can get Wordle to work on my laptop I would be most grateful - it seems to have an ActiveX control blocked and no one seems to be able to find where to unblock it.
Before you rewrite your conclusions, why not have a really close look at some that do meet expectations and determine what the key features are - did you explain the specific test results and interpret the test results in terms of the health of that stream. Mrs Currie gave you a website that has lots of useful information about the characteristics of a healthy stream. I always study the assessment results from each class for any school wide assignment so I am looking forward to seeing how well you use the feedback from Mrs Currie and your knowledge of what is required to write conclusions that are clearly at level 4.
I would love to see some of your cybercitizen presentations so I hope that some of you will share them with me. I could put them on our intranet for other classes to see too.
Have an awesome last week to the term
Mrs Stiles
What a great way to communicate with Mrs Currie and your classmates! I really enjoyed the photos and reading about some of your highlights of your year, so far. I'm sure you'll learn plenty about how the internet works- take care, but have lots of fun! I will check in another time soon.

Hey mrs c i'm just starting my stream study rewrite and I'm feeling quite ill so I'm home sick today. I have learnt a lot about beig cyber safe but the thing that stood out the most for me was how scary and dagerous the internet can really be.
