WOW - you guys had an amazing day today. We covered so much and hopefully made things clearer for you.
I will put any information you will need for your CYBER SAFETY presentations on the wiki.
Already I have read some amazing 'statements or reflections' on edmodo. This is great, if you keep up this level of thinking and maturity, I will leave edmodo running.
LEARNING - what is it??
Our collaborative wordle today showed up some really interesting things.
Do we really think learning is mainly about school, books and teachers?
What happens when you go to sport on Sat morning and your team creates a new strategy to try and win the game? IS THIS LEARNING?
When I ask you to present your cybersafety unit in a new and different way that you have to go home and think about for a few days, IS THIS LEARNING?
Is there a difference between me (or a teacher) giving you information and you figuring out what you need to solve the problem? IS THIS LEARNING?
When you create your presentations online for people around the world to read IS THIS LEARNING?
Room 9 has amazing brains lets start to use them!!!!!

This doesn't mean you doon't get out of learning your timestables :)
